General Information

The Littleton Public Schools Central Records Office is responsible for archiving and the permanent retention of records of all former LPS students.  LPS is now offering a convenient and secure website for former students, corporations and legal facilities to request transcripts and student records online.


Per District policy and the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) student records are only available to those who have authorization from the student or parent, guardian or responsible person if the student is under 18 years of age. If the student is 18 years of age or older, school records will not be released to any person without the student’s written consent.


Current Students

If you are the parent/guardian of a CURRENT student, please contact their school for record copies. If requesting records during summer break, please click the “Former Students” icon on the left to complete your request.

  • Per Central Records procedures, we attempt to process requests within 3 to 7  business days. However, due to the high volume of requests during certain times of the year this is not always possible.
  • A signed authorization to release records is required for third party records requests (K-12 District Transfers, please use ScribTransfer)
  • Records will be delivered via our secure electronic process unless the requestor makes a note in the Special Instructions field to deliver records by US mail.
  • Requests for information must be completed online and will be processed on normal business days during normal business hours (Monday-Friday 8:00 AM-4:00 PM). Click the appropriate link button to request information.


NOTE: All records are emailed unless special instructions request US Mail. We are unable to fax. No phone, email or fax requests are accepted. No same day service is available.


You will receive a confirmation email when your request is received. Once your order has been processed by the Registrar and mailed, your payment will be processed and you will receive an email confirmation and receipt. If the record you are requesting is not available, you will receive an automated email denying the order and another email from the Registrar with details about the problem. Your credit or debit card will not be charged if your records request cannot be fulfilled.

All requests will be checked for accuracy. Any inaccurate information may result in your record not being processed. All communication with regard to your order, payment, our progress, and the records delivery will be sent via email.

All copies of transcripts requested by former students will be UNOFFICIAL copies. Only prospective employers, attorneys, colleges, and universities receive official copies.

The Following May NOT Be Requested:
Diplomas Copies of diplomas are not available. Transcripts serve as proof of graduation.
GED Information To order a replacement copy of your GED Transcripts or GED Diploma, please contact the Colorado Department of Education (link below) or the Department of Education in the State you received your GED.
